Cellar Work in Progress

December 24, 2019

Hello fellow people of the vine and lovers of wine.

This poor old site has gone somewhat defunct, after suffering some neglect and then a catastrophic server and backup failure. We still do have text and images from the last several years with plans to sort through the debris and rebuild content that still has value. As a tech worker by day, its one of those “cobblers kids have no shoes” situation on one hand, but in a practical sense, I get in a lot of screen time and am trying to prioritize the use of my remaining time which often means spending time in the real world. We’ve got a home renovation that we’ve been working away on, the cellar work is calling and we’ve fallen a bit behind there as well. So if you are looking to catch up IRL you can find us near the homestead or at neighborhood wineries.

To keep in virtual touch, I share wine, some photography, and the mundane on Instagram @vtwinemedia

I’m also still managing the news desk and do sporadic cold-climate coverage with Lenn Thompson and the team at The Cork Report.

Been so busy with other stuff, I have really not properly promoted this work from 2015, but I know it’s out there and have heard from a number of people who have found it useful.
